Meritorious Service Award Winners
Badger Region would like to congratulate the following individuals on being awarded the Robert L. Lindsay Meritorious Service Award for contributing outstanding participation, motivation and other services in the promotion of volleyball. Tom Jurczyk (Center Court Sports Complex), Laine Leitzke (Wisconsin Power/Badger Region Championships Staff), Bev Bodart (Green Bay Select), Tom Pangborn (Southwest Milwaukee VBC) and Sam Firtko (Racine area volleyball) were all nominated by their peers for the recognition. Thank you for what you contribute to Badger Region, USA Volleyball and the sport of volleyball itself!

Caitlin Scannell Memorial Scholarship Fund
In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 4, 2012 a car accident claimed the life of Riptide 17 White and Badger Region member Caitlin Scannell. Please read the Badger Region blog for more information on a scholarship fund that is being set up by the family and the fundraising efforts from the volleyball community to help remember Caitlin.

Players Looking For Teams, Clubs Looking For Players
Junior players: if you have yet to find a team to play with, be sure to list your information under Players Looking For Teams and check out Clubs Looking For Players (both also found at left under Junior Volleyball). Milwaukee-area 14-and-under players, also be sure to check out the YMCA league that will be running. The flyer can be found at the top of the page when clicking here.
